Meet Corletha Norman

I am Corletha Norman, Owner and Clinical Director of Bonhomie, LLC. I have over ten years of experience in the world of social work. This is to include mental health therapy, intensive in home therapy for high risk, foster, and DFCS/DCBS clients, family and individual therapy, couples therapy, trauma focused therapy, juvenile justice intervention, case management, advocacy, and mentorship. All of these various experiences have come together to allow me to assist others with mentally growing toward contentment in their own personal journey.

My clinical and educational training

My clinical and educational training began at the University of Louisville, where I earned a Bachelor of Art in Psychology in 2008. I then moved forward to pursue my Master of Social Work degree with Spalding University. Upon my graduation in 2011, I sat for examination to successfully obtain my Certified Social Worker license in the State of Kentucky. I then completed my supervision hours and exam to be licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Kentucky (3934). I was later approved for licensure in the State of Georgia as an LCSW (CSW005255). I am also certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Finally, I hold membership with the National Association of Social Workers (State and National levels), and a member of the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce.

My therapeutic approach

I utilize a Humanistic approach to Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused therapies. I am also certified in the provision of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
